Although most businesses are still grappling with who has responsibility for artificial intelligence and where it sits, experts say AI and technology need to work together like Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers on the dance floor.

“Tech and AI have to be in perfect sync, without one dominating the other. But, ultimately the tech department will probably own the strategy for data and AI,” says Simone Mears​​​, managing director of financial services recruiter Profusion Group.
